AD: When the X-files was being developed, was it one of 30 ideas in your top drawer? CC: It was my top idea actually, something I had wanted to do for a long time. It was inspired by a show that was on when I was a teenager called the Night Stalker. So I had almost 25 years to contemplate that or refresh those memories.
