Frank Spotnitz has certainly been a huge part of the entire mythology of The X-Files. Starting as a co-producer in 1996, he also has written several episodes of the series and executive produced for the last four years of the series' phenomenal run. Following up on our exclusive story from a few weeks back, where actor David Duchovny told us that The X-Files 2 was indeed shooting in December, new rumors have sprung up online claiming that 20th Century is finally ready to start production on the sequel.
