NYCC 08: X-Files Facts On Friday

Carter and Spotnitz field fan questions, leave the truth out there.

On April 17, 2008, writer-director Chris Carter and producer Frank Spotnitz appeared at the New York Comic Con to divulge a few details about the upcoming sequel X-Files: I Want to Believe. "It takes place in the present day so it's six years after the series ended," Spotnitz said in front of a packed crowd at Comic Con's IGN Theatre. "It's not an alien mythology story. Along with a small group of online and international journalists, IGN visited the set of the upcoming X-Files sequel and spoke to key members of the cast and crew, including Anderson. In addition to discussing her overdue return to th ... [Continua a leggere]

Duchovny Files Second Film

The man behind Mulder talks about the forthcoming sequel

Before 1993, David Duchovny was probably best known as transsexual agent Dennis/Denise Bryson on Twin Peaks -- and for many sci-fi and fantasy fans, that would have been more than enough to earn him eternal admiration. But 15 years, 173 episodes and now two movies later, he has become the equivalent of genre-entertainment royalty thanks to The X-Files, an iconic science fiction series that is currently being updated on the big screen for a second time. Along with a small coterie of journalists and reporters from other international and online outlets, IGN was invited to tour the set of the upc ... [Continua a leggere]
