Frank Spotnitz has certainly been a huge part of the entire mythology of The X-Files. Starting as a co-producer in 1996, he also has written several episodes of the series and executive produced for the last four years of the series' phenomenal run. He's had a hand in both feature films as well, developing the story for the first film with series creator Chris Carter and he co-wrote and produced The X-Files: I Want to Believe, which comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on December 2, as well.
