Agent Scully has never looked so good.

The X-Files actress Gillian Anderson wowed in a sexy black gown on the red carpet for the Great Expectations premiere during the 2012 RomaFictionFest in Rome, Italy on Oct. 1.

Anderson’s black maxi dress featured orange and teal striped straps and a coordinating belly band that created a flattering maxi silhouette and drew even more attention to her decolletage, not that she needed the help. A plunging neckline that left very little to the imagination had all eyes focused on the newly-blond star.

The 44-year-old star doesn’t appear to have aged a day since her days playing David Duchovny‘s partner in crime.

Anderson showed off her natural beauty, opting for minimal makeup and simple accessories to balance her look-at-me dress.

In addition to being the evening’s style star, the actress received the Excellence Award at the international film festival.
